Dr. Thomas Tammen

My research is empirical: I work with archival capital-market data and large-scale textual analysis, including natural-language-processing and machine-learning approaches to unstructured corporate disclosure.

I am based at the University of Hamburg, affiliated with the Chair of Financial Accounting, Auditing and Sustainability and the Chair of Capital Markets and Management. I completed my doctorate at Hamburg in 2025 and have held visiting positions at Syracuse University and the University of Luxembourg.
